Trouble still in Harbour Series contention

Some great sailing and crew work saw Trouble push back into contention for a Harbour Series win today. First across in both races saw us pull back three points against series leader Young Lion, who now leads us by only one point going into the final race in three weeks time.

The crew has been settled long enough to be really working well together, and as in the Crown Series, our crew work is second to none. When the skipper doesn't make too many mistakes we are hard to beat in just about any conditions. Its intense, close, and very satisfying sailing!

  1. Not sure this should be said but in the first race we missed a second place to Rousabout by 8 seconds and in the second race we missed a first to Rousabout by 7 seconds. The potential results could have put Trouble one point in front of Young Lion. It is a character fault that I analyse the results in this way but it does show that every second counts. Well done guys. By the way I will not be Barre...ing up again before a race. I have sore bits where they should not be or have not been sore for some time!

  2. Very fair comment I'd say re the seconds. I don't know if you have noticed, but I begrudge every second wasted or lost in a harbour race, and have lost a series due to a 1 second loss in one race. The other stuff I wont have a bar of.
